See FFH-Megastar Melanie C at the smallest Concert in the World

With this slogan the German radiostation Hit Radio FFH draw attention of the listeners to the concert with Melanie C. Since summer 2005 FFH organizes concerts named "Das kleinste Konzert der Welt", which means "The smallest Concert in the World" translated into English. Both national and international stars like Silbermond, Christina Stürmer, the Simple Minds and Ronan Keating already appeared on one of those concerts in front of a small audience in special locations.

On March 9th, 2007 FFH announced, that this time Melanie C will give a small unplugged-concert: on March 16th, 2007 for the first time in a cinema, in the Capitol Center in Marburg. Tickets were not able to buy, you could only win them in the internet by telling FFH, why you definitely want to see Melanie C.

Between the 12th and the 15th of March the winners got phone calls from FFH, which have also been broadcasted. They were allowed to bring a companion with them and had to bring a printed leaflet to register at the cinema.

Then on March 16th at noon the first queue in front of the cinema formed. Everybody got a VIP-passport after entering. While the checking it turned out for two lucky winners, that they had win not only the concert, in addition they won also a meet & greet with Melanie C (read the entire story here).

The cinema hall, where Melanie C gave her acoustic concert, had a capacity of ~90 persons. Melanie brought her two guitarists Paul Gendler and Greg Hatwell with her. She was glad to present her new songs from her current album "This Time" and her German No. 1-Song "First Day Of My Life" in this special atmosphere:

The atmosphere while the concert was great, especially while "First Day Of My Life", where everybody sang along with the lyrics. Melanie decided to sing her single "The Moment You Believe" again as an encore. The audience was so overwhelmed, as you can hear in interviews.

After the concert the Meet & Greet took place in a small room in the cinema. Melanie signed CD's and took photos with the two winners. Afterwards she had to leave immediately to give interviews in Frankfurt.

According to the press spokesman Dominik Kuhn this event had been organized within 12 days only. Congratulations! Thank you, Hit Radio FFH!
